'Dough Maestro's Pizzeria started with an ambitious vision: to introduce genuine Neapolitan pizza to Washington, D.C.. The Bianchi family launched our pizzeria in 1985, initially a humble family-owned shop, which cherished passed-down recipes from ancestors.

Marco Bianchi, our originator, mastered her pizza-crafting skills by immersing herself in the culture of Italy, picking up secrets from pizza masters in Naples—the pizza cradle. After returning to the UK, her mission became to emulate Italian pizza enchantment, channeling classic methods and top-notch materials.

What began as a quaint 12-seater has evolved into a revered neighborhood gem, yet our devotion to excellence and genuineness stands firm. We persist in using tried-and-true wood-fired stoves, fresh daily dough preparations, and sourcing the best ingredients available.

To this day, 'Dough Maestro's Pizzeria is still steered by the Bianchi household, now with a fresh generation at the helm, leading a dedicated crew. Even as we've adopted new techniques, we never deviate from our core: crafting luscious, authentic pizzas that gather folks together.
